Agreement to Terms
By using our services at SBF San Bruno Fence Builders, you agree to these terms. We provide professional fence installation, repair, and maintenance services in San Bruno, CA and surrounding areas. These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services means you accept any changes.
Our Services
We offer fence installation, repair, and replacement services for residential and commercial properties. When you request a quote, we will provide an estimate based on your specific needs. The final price may vary if we discover additional work is needed once we start the project.
We will do our best to complete your project on time, but some delays may happen due to weather, material availability, or other factors beyond our control. We will keep you informed if any delays occur.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless we agree to different terms in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. For larger projects, we may require a deposit before starting work.
If payment is not received within 30 days of project completion, we may charge interest on the outstanding balance at the maximum rate allowed by California law.
Warranties and Guarantees
We stand behind our work. We offer a one-year warranty on our labor, which means if something goes wrong with our installation within one year, we will fix it at no charge to you. This does not cover damage caused by weather, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
Materials come with manufacturer warranties, which vary by product. We will provide you with warranty information for any materials we install.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for making sure we have clear access to the work area and that any underground utilities are marked before we start work. You must also ensure you have the proper permits if required by your city or homeowners association.
If you have pets, please keep them secured during our work hours. We want to keep everyone safe, including your furry friends.
Cancellations and Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. If we have already ordered materials for your project, you may be responsible for the cost of those materials.
Changes to the project scope after we have started work may result in additional charges. We will discuss any additional costs with you before proceeding with changes.
Liability
We carry full liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. However, we are not responsible for damage to underground utilities that were not properly marked, damage to lawns or landscaping that occurs during normal construction activities, or issues caused by pre-existing conditions we were not made aware of.
Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for our services.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a problem with our work, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. We want you to be happy with your fence. Most issues can be resolved through friendly conversation.
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any legal proceedings will be governed by California law and must be brought in San Mateo County.
